Will the Obamas keep their house in Chicago or will they sell it before President Elect Obama increases the capital gains tax?

Al-Qaida Back McCain

It shouldn't come as a surprise. This is code word for Al-Qaida really wanting Obama to win as they most likely perceive Obama as the "Weak One".

T R A N S F O R M A T I O N A L

In Powell's language, TRANSFORMATIONAL = RACE and his reasoning for endoresement does not add up.  Powell's endorsement is overrated! This is the guy who wrote in his book that he did not have "the fire in the belly" to become President and deep down, he did not have the guts to go into IRAQ either.

Well, no suprise there. We now know that he does not have a backbone either. That his endoresement is racially motivated, as someone else said in this blog, if Obama was white, I don't think Powell would think him Transformational...

I'm sure that Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Castro, Sadam Husein, etc. were thought to be Transformational figures.

For someone who says he is an American first, he is very dismissive of Obama's associations with Ayers and Wright who denegrated this country. Is that being American First?  What a hyprocrite!

When you look into Obama's eyes what do you see?

When you look into Obama's eyes what do you see?

W.E.L.F.A.R.E

My friends, this seven letter word, is the worst promise that America has to offer.  This "welfare" estate mentality is equivalent to modern day Slavery.  This penalizes the people that overperform and rewards those that don't.  Not only that, it perpetuates the entitlement mentality and mediocracy.

Why should I work 10 hours a days?  why should I push myself to be better than I am?

This W.E.L.F.A.R.E mentality turns the clock back on our self-reliance and puts a ceiling on our potential.  So if your son or daughter got an 'A' in Math/Science and someone else got an 'F' would their grade be deflated to make someone else feel better?

Welfare = Failure

Obama and Castro "Connecting the Dots.."

I disagree with Charles K. that it's the timing is wrong for the McCain team to bring out Obama's associations. If they had done it months ago, it would have been burried by now with the news of the financial crisis.

The American people are smart enough to connect the dots and also worry about the financial crisis.

Not only does Obama's associations show what his leanings are (leftist liberal) but also, the fact that he changed his name from Barry to Barrack Hussain shows his “real” and desguised muslim tendencies.

This reminds me of when Castro, soon after his take over, wore his Catholic virgin medal around his neck to fool Cubans into thinking that he was one of them and not a Communist. At the same time, he was plotting with Russia and turned Cuba into a Communist estate.

McCain's "That One" Moment

This was a great moment for McCain and if he sounded angry, even better.

Enough is enough that "That One" the Teflon guy is getting away with little scrutiny and no one pointing out that his senate record amounts to "Zero", that his associations with less than desirable people shows his inclination and his comfort zone, that he lacks character and judgement.

That when it comes to critical issues he doesn't have the backbone to make swift and commanding decisions (i.e Russia's invasion of Georgia and the "I'm here if you need me" management of the financial crisis.

It feels Like April Fools in October and the Fools are the American people who buy into Obamas' empty promises.

5 Weeks v 18 Months

By all accounts, in a very short span of time, Gov. Palin got up to speed on the critical issues concerning this election. She was in command of every issue and went toe-to-toe with Binden.

Compared to 18 months Obama has had to prepare, not to mention, with an army of 200 plus foreign affair advisors, Gov. Palin performed brilliantly. Obama's performance was memorized as he has Zero foreign policy experience and has a very slim record in the Senate to speak to.

This was, in my book not only a game changer, but a big October Surprise that really took everyone by surprise. She is gutsy, smart and genuine.

She has recued McCain twice now and will carry him to Victory on Nov. 4th.

Pelosi You're Fired!

Some people said they were embarrased about Sarah Palin's performance in various networks interviews when they should be worried about Nancy Pelosi's total incompetence, lack of leadership and knowledge about the economy not to mention her partisianship.  She cannot even deliver the democratic votes.

Nancy Pelosi is a total Failure and she should be fired.  She's an embarrassment to all successful professional women.

Lynn de Rothschild & Donald Trump...

With these two high prolife Hilary supporters (moderate democrats) now backing McCain, they provide great insights into what they think of Obama and their party.

Lynn can't stand Pelosi, Reed and Obama. It's true when she says they want to put the noose around women's neck to scare them about Roe v Wade.

Remember it wast he Party of Lincoln who got rid of slavery and the democrats who created a new form of slavery called "welfare".

Obamas' Pusilanimity

It's 3am and you get a call about the potential IGA bailout. Obama rolls over and goes under the covers. Now three days later he wants to appear presidential.

Is the American public so naive as to buy into this marketing ploy and theatre? This is another example that he lacks the "cojones" to make decisions swiftly and without hesitation.

Sure, anybody can make decisions with 20/20 hindsight. This guy is a total fake!

Bush Doctrine - In What Respect Charlie?

No one can complain that Charlie Gibson threw "soft-ball" questions at Palin.  I think, overall, the questions were tough and she navigated through them, including the Bush Doctrine "gotcha" questions, without setting off any land minds. She answered directly with confidence and without hesitation.

Many in the early morning news shows, today, have tried to mock her "in what respect"  answer back to Charlie, on the Bush Doctrine, as trying to camouflage her lack of knowledge. According to wikipedia:

"The Bush Doctrine is a phrase used to describe various related foreign policy principles of United States president George W. Bush, created in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks.  The phrase initially described the policy that the United States had the right to treat countries that harbor or give aid to terrorist groups as terrorist themselves..." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_Doctrine

So her response to Charlie’s "in what respect" was totally appropriate, as the Bush Doctrine embodies multiple policies, including but not solely preemptive strike. When Charlie specifically asked her about her stance on preemptive strike, she did not hesitate to give her straightforeward answer.

A Community Organizer With A "Suit" is Still a...

Community Organizer...Is Obama so naive to think that the American  public was not going to make the link between his "lipstick" reference and Gov. Sarah Palin?  Or did his campaign strategists think that they are so smart, that by cloaking the "lipstick" message was not going to back fire?

So, a Community Organizer with a GQ suit is still a Community Organizer.  Obama has sunk to a new low level and he is having a hard time recovering. Does he have the fire in the belly to be President? Based on his delayed reactions and misguided actions, it appears he does not?

Politics and Presidential Campaigns for that matter, is not for the Faint of Heart!

Dave - Response

I don't disagree with you! I should have been more specific regarding PBS. I do think McNeil Lehr is overall well balanced in that the anchors do not get into commentary. They present both sides on a issue and you can decide.

Backlash Against the Fourth Estate!

Finally, they are feeling the heat and their ratings will go next.

Just like the FDA regulates the Pharmaceutical companies by ensuring there is fair and balance labeling on drugs, the FCC should require fair and balance reporting.

The press needs to get back to reporting and less commenting, opining and brainwashing. An informed public, based on balance facts, can figure out the rest. They think the average Americans are stupid and they need to tell us what to think.

It is an insult to all Americans! Vote with your remote. Start by boycotting both MSN and CNN.

American Flags are Left Behind

Actions speak louder than words. For all his beautifully crafted words, Obama and his coterie show disrespect for the American Flag.

With all the Pomp and Circumstance displayed at the DNC convention, the devil is in the details. Leaving approximately 12,000 flags behind to be trashed, is a striking sign of what can be expected if the "chosen one" becomes the next President.

This thoughtless action is comparable to saying one thing to the folks in Scranton, PA and then saying something else behind their backs in San Francisco.

Obama will never put our Country First!
